Who We Are

The Saint Louis Crisis Nursery is a recognized leader in the prevention of child abuse and neglect through the provision of a safe haven for children and premier services to families.

What We Do

The Crisis Nursery has five Nurseries that provide short term temporary shelter for children whose family is experiencing a crisis. Our staff welcome these little ones as they come in, offering comfort, stories, bubble baths, hot food, play time and most of all, safety.  We provide Art and Play Therapy as part of our holistic care to minimize the adverse effects of a stressful situation or traumatic experience for children using the Nursery services.

We are NOT a daycare! Our staff go through extensive paid training so they can interact in a therapeutic and nurturing manner with children who are trying to cope with a stressful reality.

We look for patient, hard-working and compassionate people who understand that every child needs the best we have to offer and we only hire the very best staff!

Are you a caring person with a positive outlook and a passion for child abuse prevention?  The Crisis Nursery may be your next step to a fulfilling career!
