Respite Team
All staff must be at least 21 and must have at least a HS education /GED. Supervisors prefer applicants that have at least a year of paid experience caring for children agest birth to 12. We will pay a higer starting rate for years of relevant paid child care experience and for higher education such as an associates or bachelor’s degree. Crisis Care experience is preferred but not required. See specific jobs for more details.

Status: Part Time, Full Time as available. This is a wakeful overnight shift: 11 p.m. - 7 a.m.
The Overnight Child Specialist is an essential worker, primarily responsible for the safety and well-being of children staying overnight in the nursery. With safety as a #1 priority, the OCS will remain awake at all times on shift and will check on sleeping children every 15 minutes, as well as keep constant eyes on children who are awake. To promote the healthiest environment for our children, the OCS will keep the nursery clean and sanitized.
A HS education or GED is required, but an Associates or Bachelor’s degree in a related or unrelated field is cause for wage enhancement.

Status: Part Time, Full Time as available. Positions include these shifts: 7 a.m. - 3 p.m. and/or 3 p.m. - 11 p.m.
The Child Specialist (CS) is primarily responsible for the physical, social, and emotional care of the children admitted to the Crisis Nursery on shifts during the hours of 7 a.m. - 11 p.m. The CS will develop and lead children’s playgroups activities, facilitate and maintain a structured daily routine, as well as provide crisis intervention and resources to families using the Nursery’s services. The CS also helps ensure a clean and tidy environment. A HS education or GED is required, but an Associates or Bachelor’s degree in a related or unrelated field is cause for wage enhancement.

Status: Part Time, Full Time as available. Positions include these shifts: 7 a.m. - 3 p.m. and/or 3 p.m. - 11 p.m.
The Child and Family Specialist (CFS) requires a bachelor’s degree in social work or related field, and shares responsibility for the appropriate care of children admitted to the Crisis Nursery, including risk assessment, goal setting, crisis intervention, and prioritizing family needs. The Child and Family Specialist is also responsible for the general oversight of the shift, as well as managing the Nursery helpline during that shift. CFS work as part of the team of staff that care for the children’s needs on shift. Full-time CFS participate in an on-call rotation.

Status: Part Time, Full Time as available. Position hours are 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. or 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
The Family Care Case Manager (FCCM) requires at least a bachelor’s degree in social work or closely related field. The professional in this position is the primary point of contact in response to daily crisis care calls and is largely responsible for the appropriate intake and discharge of children admitted to the Crisis Nursery, including risk assessment, goal setting, crisis intervention, and prioritizing family needs. also works as part of the team of staff that care for the children’s needs on shift, and Full-time FCCM participate in an on-call rotation. This role is an important part of our career ladder, and we look to promote from within our existing staff whenever possible.
Family Empowerment Professionals Team
Our preference is for Masters level professionals with license and home visiting experience.
We may consider candidates with less than a Master’s degree if they have an exceptional work history, with crisis care experience, working with families

FThe Family Empowerment Social Worker (FESW) is primarily responsible for supporting families and parents while maintaining and managing a caseload through home visits, phone support, basic needs/item drop offs, off-site visits, and parent education. The FESW will provide differentiated in-home support, based on client needs, while acting as a positive role model. 70 client contact hours per month is required between crisis intervention and family stabilization clients. The FESW Will bring their therapeutic skills to this role to support the clients they serve. The FESW is also responsible for maintaining clear and accurate records, executing goals as stated for funded programs. The FESW works closely with Nursery staff in the support of a family’s needs.
