Liz Bender, LMSW, joined the Saint Louis Crisis Nursery in 2026 and serves as the Learning and Development Manager. In this role, she oversees staff training through Learn365, partners with the Family Empowerment Team to facilitate training initiatives, and coordinates practicum student onboarding and placement. Liz brings a diverse background in home visiting, program coordination, family engagement, and early childhood program management.

Liz is passionate about supporting both staff and families and is proud to be part of the dedicated and positive team at the City OC. Her work is rooted in the belief that families are the experts on their children. By building collaborative partnerships, she strives to help families achieve their goals and create positive outcomes for their children.

Outside of work, Liz enjoys spending time with her family, including her two young children, and making the most of weekends together.
