Helping Hands Make a BIG Difference! 💙

Every month, volunteers step through our doors ready to lend a hand wherever it’s needed most. From stocking pantry shelves and organizing essential supplies to cleaning our Nurseries, these acts of service help create welcoming, well-prepared spaces for the children and families who turn to us during times of crisis.

This month, we’re celebrating several amazing groups who rolled up their sleeves and made a difference!

Midwest Employers Casualty

A huge thank you to Midwest Employers Casualty for supporting the Crisis Nursery in more ways than one! Along with generously presenting us with a donation, the team got to work cleaning and organizing our spaces. We’re so grateful for both their generosity and their willingness to jump in and help wherever needed.

CannonDesign

Thank you to the wonderful team from CannonDesign for spending time with us! Their volunteers tackled cleaning and organizing projects throughout the Nursery, helping us maintain spaces that are ready to welcome and care for children and families when they need us most.

Maryville University

Double the groups, double the impact! Two groups from Maryville University joined us this month to help prepare food bags for our pantry and organize diapers and wipes. These everyday essentials are an important part of the support we provide to families, and having them packed, stocked, and ready to go makes a huge difference.

MICDS

We also welcomed a group of students from MICDS, who helped pack food bags and disinfect the Nursery. Their hard work helped prepare essential resources for families while keeping our spaces clean and ready for the kiddos in our care.

To all of our volunteers, THANK YOU! Every bag packed, shelf organized, diaper sorted, and space cleaned helps our team focus on what matters most: keeping kids safe and building strong families. We couldn’t do this work without you.
