Volunteer Spotlight

Celebrating Our Incredible Volunteers!

In the aftermath of the tornado, our incredible volunteer community stepped up in powerful ways. From hundreds of essential supplies to nearly $25,000 in donations and countless hours of hands-on help, your compassion carried families through crisis. Showing up with heart is what defines this community—and what drives our mission forward.

As we turn toward the end of summer and prepare for fall, there are still so many ways to make a difference. Keep reading for upcoming opportunities to support our Nurseries and the families we serve.

💙Thank you for being an integral part of our mission—

and for making this community stronger with every act of kindness.đź’™

Clayton Seniors Show Up Big!

Huge thanks to our incredible student volunteers from John Burroughs, Visitation, CBC, Incarnate Word, and Visitation Academy! From assembling food bags and cleaning toys to organizing cabinets and playing with the kids, they kept our Nurseries running smoothly—and brought joy, energy, and a powerful reminder that our children are surrounded by a caring community.

Building a Better Day—

One Project at a Time!

Huge thanks to the super sweet team from Neighbors Credit Union for lending a hand! They rolled up their sleeves and helped us sort and organize our basement—making a big difference behind the scenes. We’re so grateful for your time and teamwork!

Shining Bright with Kindness!

Thanks a million to the incredible UnitedHealth Community interns who brought energy, positivity, and elbow grease to the Nursery! From organizing clothes and diapers to deep-cleaning our playground, their hard work made a huge impact—and we’re so thankful!

Digging In for a Great Cause!

We’re sending a big thank you to the amazing team from Mastercard who jumped right in to help! From cleaning our playground to assembling a bench, organizing diaper donations, and stocking food and formula shelves—they did it all with heart and hustle. We’re inspired by your kindness and commitment!

To all of our volunteers—thank you for sharing your time, heart, and talents with the Nursery—you are a vital part of this mission, and we’re so grateful for you.
